The AGM itself will be held in the hotel at 16.00 hrs on Saturday
The hotel is within easy reach of both the airport and the main line railway station.
With the hotel price less than last year and loads of things to do and see in Edinburgh – don’t miss this opportunity – combine seeing old friends with a mini break and make a weekend of it.
There is a free car park adjacent to the hotel for those wishing to drive. For those travelling by train or plane, there is a bus which travels between the airport and Waverly Station which stops directly outside the hotel, it is very easy to use.
The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, steam room sauna and gym with extensive facilities – all are complimentary for those staying at the hotel. The rooms are very well appointed. The hotel has good banqueting facilities and can accommodate tables of up to 10 on round tables.
Johnnie Walker Experience
On a dark November day, I entered the realms of the Johnnie Walker Experience, not knowing what to expect. I have been to a number of whisky tours at distilleries so was intrigued to find out what this was and how it would be different. I was intending to say that I had sacrificed myself on your behalf but wow – 90 minutes of entertainment, whether you are a whisky drinker or not – it is well worth the visit and the price. I shall be booking groups to do the tours – that way we get a discount so please join us. You will not be disappointed. There are buses which leave from outside the hotel and take you to within a very short walk of the venue, so no coaches required. You will then be free to return to the hotel at your leisure. The Experience is on Princes Street so handy for the shops, bars and restaurants afterwards. Mim Smith.
